We are seeking a nanny / carer for a family in Cremorne who are looking for a confident and experienced person to collect their two children from school 4 afternoons a week. The children are aged 9 year old (M), 7year old (F). The days and hours are:-Monday          3.00pm to 6.45pmTuesday          4.00pm to 6.00pmWednesday     3.15pm to 6.00pmThursday         3.00pm to 6.00pmAdditional hours can be offered to work on a Friday afternoon if the nanny would like to work more hours.The same if not more hours will be offered during most school holidays.   The carer will pick children up from school (walking distance) and once home you will oversee their homework and engage in activities with them.The children are to be encouraged to spend quality time on their homework and not in front of the TV.  Mondays you will be needed to drive the family car (if you don't have your own car) to take the daughter to gymnastics in Cromer and there could be other occasional activities to drive the children to.The ideal person for this role will be able to engage the children in fun activities, be able to set boundaries and also be able fair and fun. The nanny’s responsibilities for this role will be as follows – Collect the children from school (walking distance) and take home or to an after school activityOversee and assist with homeworkSometimes prepare the children’s evening meal Provide routine and structure to the children’s afternoonsAssist with light household duties i.e. unpacking dishwasher, general tidying up after the childrenTransport to gymnastics on Monday’s and occasional other after school activitiesThe family’s expectations from their nanny are – Must have a minimum of 2 years nanny experience caring for childrenHave a drivers licence Have a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one prior to commencing)Have a current working with children’s check numberHave great communication skills

  • Pay: $30 per hour
