Rocklands is Paraway’s largest cattle breeding operation at over 677,000 ha, situated on the border of Queensland and the Northern Territory on the Barkly Tableland some 7klm from the township of Camooweal.  Rocklands runs a 22,000 breeder herd consisting of a crossbred base with a heavy influence of Brahman cattle.Reporting to the Station Manager, your main duties include operating the property Road Train to transport cattle both on and off the station and carrying out maintenance of the road train. Other duties include assisting with livestock operations and general station activities.You must have a current MC licence with a minimum of 2 years' road train experience and a strong commitment to animal health and workplace safety. Previous experience in transporting livestock is desirable, along with general machinery maintenance and basic fatigue management knowledge and/or certificate. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high performing pastoral business.
