About the role
Based in the beautiful town of Orange, NSW we are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Training and Compliance Coordinator providing operational support to our WHS, Risk and Compliance Manager.
The role is responsible for the coordination, monitoring and implementation of all health, safety and compliance training, ensuring Paraway meets all relevant legislative requirements. This is a hands on role which will require some travel.
These duties include but not limited to;
- Design and preparation of online and face to face WHS Induction programs;
- Maintain and administer induction databases (staff & contractor);
- Monitor and in consultation with WHS, Risk and Compliance Manager, update WHS training compliance requirements across company;
- Assist managing the development, maintenance and revision of policies and procedures, as directed by the WHS, Risk and Compliance Manager;
- Monitor and report on performance of compliance through audits on a regular basis, ensure that any compliance concerns are being appropriately evaluated;
Skills and experience
To be successful, you will be a strong communicator and able to naturally engage and build relationships with people at all levels of the organisation.
We are ideally seeking someone with the following skills, capabilities and experience;
- Previous experience in a WHS and/or compliance role, auditing experience is highly regarded
- Experience in training (coordination, design, delivery) is advantageous
- Formal qualifications in Health & Safety and/or Compliance (essential)
- Current and unencumbered Driver’s License (essential)
- Valid Australian Work Rights (essential)
- Q Fever vaccination (desirable)
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
- First Aid Certified (desirable)
- Having an interest and passion for agriculture would be highly beneficial
