Life Saving Victoria is Victoria’s peak Water safety and Lifesaving organisation and is committed to its mission to prevent aquatic related death and injury across all Victorian communities.You will work with an allocated 57 Clubs across the state, supporting more than 38,000 volunteer members, servicing the Victorian community.We achieve this by working with our members, communities, educational institutions, governments, and other organisations in the provision of best practice education, training, surveillance and rescue and risk management services.You will be responsible for building and maintaining mutually beneficial and cooperative relationships of support between clubs, state officers and the state centre.  Your focus is to support the clubs and their committees across the state to build capacity and ease the administrative burden.  You will provide support, troubleshooting, training and guidance on latest information and changes, integration and support of administration, infrastructure, IT systems, lifesaving services and reporting systems.  You will facilitate clubs to connect to the relevant areas within both LSV and the local areas.The Key Outcomes of the role include;Relationship Management – to foster positive and supportive relationships with clubs, committees, local councils and members.  You will be a facilitator, ensuring clubs are connecting to relevant areas within LSV, local areas and key stakeholders.Administration Capabilities – support the development of clubs efficiencies and independence in regard to their volunteer administrative capabilities through IT implementation, training, enhancement of systems and advice. Support activities and processes required to maintain affiliation with Life Saving Victoria.Club & Volunteer Support – supporting club committees, area officers and state officers, with tools, networks, resources, advice, transition and succession planning.  Building capacity of committees and clubs through training, policy and development assisting the clubs attract, retain and transition committees and culture.Resourcing & Support – supporting clubs and members with resources and engagement to enhance capabilities through IT support and integration.  Proactively work with clubs to identify inefficiencies and barriers and support the implementation of innovative solutions at both state and club levels.   Advocate and share solutions, be the conduit between clubs, state and clubs to ensure relevant, timely and fit for purpose solutions.Supporting Activities – support and promote clubs, local area activities, including; sport, membership and leadership, training, lifesaving state services, to support member retention, development, upskilling and increase club capabilities.With a continuous improvement mind-set, you will take an analytical approach to troubleshooting, with the ability to clearly demonstrate outcomes. You will be able to manage your own time to achieve key outcomes and prioritise multiple projects and needs, including those of clubs, volunteers and Life Saving Victoria.You will have demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with various groups both internally and externally of a typical Life Saving Club operations.We seek motivated, proactive thinkers, who enjoy working in a team environment.
