Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, motivation and direction to employees in the GNC team
  • Manage the planning, implementation, and execution of Engineering projects
  • Perform trajectory design, optimization, and dispersion analysis
  • Implementation of new software or algorithms to support mission unique capabilities
  • Manage the development verification and validation procedures to ensure the performance of software products
  • Perform analysis to support early design phase concept development
  • Contribute to System Engineering management processes

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in physics or an engineering discipline
  • 5 years’+ experience in leadership role within the aerospace or similar industry
  • Advanced in software applications including C++, MATLAB, Python
  • Excellent understanding of C++ Embedded Real-time software engineering practices
  • Demonstrated project experience in launch vehicle systems
  • Experience in strategy, development, and execution of plans/projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
