A great opportunity exists for an enthusiastic individual to join the LSV IT&C and Digital Technology team in this newly created role of IT Manager.  We seek an experienced manager with strong people development skills, customer service focus and project management skills.  Life Saving Victoria is Victoria’s peak Water safety and Lifesaving organisation and is committed to its mission to prevent aquatic related death and injury across all Victorian communities. Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services, the IT Manager will be focused on providing strong strategic and operational leadership to the IT&C and Digital Technology team, to key stakeholders, and drive the direction for the business in all areas relating to IT management, performance, systems and processes, in line with the LSV strategic objectives. You will oversee the application development support, administration of IT systems, and the integration of different IT systems streamlining processes and ensure an enhanced user experience.   Ideal candidate: this position would ideally suit an IT professional with demonstrated people management skills and project management experience including solution design and implementation. You will have outstanding organisation and problem solving skills with a focus on process improvement. You will be a team player, with a friendly 'can-do' attitude and a passion for leading a team to deliver customer service excellence and user experience. Specific requirements: you will have demonstrated success in managing a technology team, have a strong working knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance obligations and risk managements practices.  You will also have leadership experience in an agile development practices and bespoke app development.  You will have excellent communication skills, with continuous improvement focus.
