Station Hand Cooinbil/Steam Plains Cooinbil/Steam Plains is a 137,000-ha aggregation stretching from the Murrumbidgee River to the Yanco Creek in the NSW Western Riverina. Our two main station complexes are located roughly 100km from Hay, Deniliquin, Jerilderie and Griffith.We are an extensive livestock operation focused primarily on a self-replacing merino sheep flock and operating a cattle backgrounding operation as seasons allow. Joining 50,000 merino ewes annually and turning off up to 7,000 head of cattle in better seasons, it is a dynamic business which relies on a dedicated, high functioning and resourceful team.Station Hands are key to the success of our operation, and we are looking for our next stand out team members.
