We have over 38,000 members from 57 clubs across the state, a workforce of over 500 staffduring peak season and a large network of licensees, partners and industry.  This position has been created to support our increasing need to deliver innovative and effective solutions to the organisation. You will own the high performance and delivery of all supply chain activities for the Carrum Downs warehouse and collaboratively work with the other warehouse sites. This will include inventory and equipment management, sales order fulfilment as well as supporting our online sales platform and purchasing. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the planning of resourcing, operations and purchasing, you will communicate the plan across the organisation to the different business units and ensure the safe implementation of all activities.   To succeed in this role, you will need to be customer focused, a process and planning champion and thrive in a fast-paced operational environment. Key Selection Criteria; Ideal candidate: A process driven professional who has experience in warehouse management including purchasing, inwards goods, dispatch, inventory control and equipment management functions.  You will enjoy working in teams, be solution focused and can be relied upon to "make it happen".  Specific requirements: Proven ability to plan with preference given to S&OP planning experience.  Strong understanding of warehouse processes from purchasing through to delivery and customer satisfaction. Experience in visual management of performance with a focus on continuous improvement. Understanding and commitment to creating a safe and productive work environment. You must hold a current driver license and be able to obtain a Working with Children check.  Personal attributes: You will enjoy taking ownership of your results and working to get the best out of people. You will have strong leadership and decision-making skills to help drive successful outcomes. Ability to be unfazed by the need to review and change plans or sudden events creating a change to priorities.  Communication skills: The ability to keep all stakeholders updated and to communicate plans, changes, priorities and requirements both verbally and written are paramount. Flexible: You will have a flexible, can do attitude.
