The Behaviour Support Practitioner will be responsible for:Delivering intervention, both face to face and via Telehealth during the current COVID-19 pandemic.Working as part of a multidisciplinary team.Providing evidence-based assessment and behaviour support plans and intervention to children, adolescents and young adults across home, school and community settings (as required).Educating and support parents, carers, families and teachers in how to encourage skill building and guide development in order for each individual to reach their full potential.Assisting community members and other professionals to understand and promote strengths of individuals on the spectrum.To be successful in this position, you will:have a relevant degree in the disciplines of Psychology/Human Services, supported by relevant work experience in the field.have completed behaviour support practitioner assessment against the Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
