The Role

As a graduate (or an undergraduate who’s prepared to work full time), they are hoping to take on someone who would like to learn the audit side of accounting. This role will allow you to expand on your tax knowledge and learn all there is about external audit.

 

Further Duties

  • Liaise with clients and prepare accounts, tax returns, FBT returns, BAS and other compliance matters
  • Work with accounting programs, such as MYOB, Xero and APS
  • Maintain client records and accounts
  • Complete small audits and undertake audit activities in large audits
  • Identify & communicate risk areas to clients
  • Effectively build relationships with clients and team members

 

The Applicant

  • A university degree in relevant field (Accounting, Finance or similar)
  • Enrolled in or the intention to enrol in the CA qualification program
  • Attitude, career focus and communication skills are important for this opportunity
  • A driver’s license and ideally your own vehicle
  • Full working rights in Australia
