Aliwah Recruitment are currently seeking experienced ServicePersonnel to work with our client a leading civil contractor with major earthmoving projects in the Pilbara. They have a growing pipeline of projects and there is a very real opportunity to work on back to back to back projects. These positions are offered on casual contract basis on a 2:1 roster FIFO from Perth.
Duties
- Perform basic mechanical work.
- Monitor plant and equipment condition to ensure correct function and diagnose faulty mechanics.
- Check and maintain correct oil and fuel levels to ensure machinery is able to run at full potential.
- Ensure the service vehicle unit is stocked with correct levels of oil/grease/fuel.
- Identify and report any oil/fuel leaks.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the service truck.
- Perform all duties as requested by Maintenance Supervisor
Successful candidates will have previous experience within the mining industry where your duties include the maintenance, service and repair of a fleet of mobile equipment that includes (but not limited to) mechanical and electrical dump trucks, excavators, loaders and dozers.
Selection Criteria include:
• Experience within the mining industry
• Current Australian HR drivers licence (preferred but not essential)
• Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical including DAS screen
• Demonstrated track record of working safely
• Provide two contactable references
