- Fantastic part-time opportunities
- Flexible hours
- Reputable not-for-profit
As Canberra's longest-standing aged care provider, and one of the largest private employers in ACT, Goodwin is expanding our home care services into nearby regional NSW (Yass and Murrumbateman).
What we offer
Goodwin offers rewarding work plus a range of career paths for an exciting future of your choice. We also offer significant employee benefits such as discounts from local companies, training, workplace incentives, family and lifestyle provisions.
Who we are looking for
We are currently seeking community care workers from active members of local regional communities who are enthusiastic and energetic, and who ideally have a passion for aged care or have worked or volunteered as a carer supporting older people, people with disability or children and young adults. This is a rare opportunity to work close to home if you live in the region's country towns.
As a part-time community care worker, you will deliver services to our senior clients including all aspects of personal care and domestic assistance in their own homes. This role does involve traveling between clients' homes and other locations. You must have a drivers’ license, vehicle with comprehensive car insurance and a smart mobile phone.
You must be a self-starter, able to work unsupervised and follow procedures. A Certificate III in Individual Support is desirable, however, we provide skills training and sponsor our employees to gain Certificate III and higher qualifications as you progress your career.
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting people who wish to remain living independently in their own home.
You must be an Australian Citizen or have work rights for Australia to be eligible to apply. All Goodwin employees undergo a Criminal Background Check as a pre-requisite to employment.
If this sounds like you and you’re excited by the opportunity to work with Goodwin, then apply now!
