
Operations Manager - Tours
A unique opportunity for a skilled operations manager to work in the beautiful Nitmiluk National Park and Cutta Cutta Caves overseeing an exciting range of tours including river, canoes, caves and cultural tours.
About the position
Ensuring guests leave with an appreciation of the natural beauty of the Nitmiluk Gorge and of Aboriginal culture is key to this position. 'Sharing our Country' is the vision of the Jawoyn people and we aim to do this by providing a unique and unforgettably positive experience for those that go on our tours.
As the Operations Manager - Tours you will be responsible for the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the variety of tours that we run including river cruises, canoes, cultural tours, and any future additional tours. This is a Senior Management position, reporting directly to the CEO, and you will work closely with the Operations Manager - Hospitality, Sales and Reservations Manager, Finance Manager and Human Resources Manager.
As the Operations Manager - Tours you will also be responsible for developing a great team and creating a positive work environment for your staff.

Nitmiluk Tours Pty Ltd is wholly owned by the Jawoyn people and provides tourism and hospitality services within Nitmiluk Gorge National Park and at Cutta Cutta Caves. About you
As the successful applicant for the position you will have highly developed organisational and management skills with a commitment to excellent service to both guests and staff. You will be happy working in a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities. This is a practical position and requires you to lead by example and to help out on the teams when required.
Your positive can do attitude, appreciation of Aboriginal Culture, ability to communicate well and respectfully with people at all levels of the organisation and across many different cultures makes you a standout for this position.
Previous relevant experience managing adventure tours, preferably in the marine sector, is an essential requisite.
