An exciting opportunity exists for a HVAC Trades Assistant to join our production team at our state-of-the-art Granville premises. The responsibilities of the HVAC Trades Assistant is for the assembly and disassembly of HVAC units and to support the HVAC technicians.
The role includes but not limited to:
- Disassembly & assembly of HVAC units for repair & Overhaul (predominantly large package units)
- Disassembly & assembly of fans, motors and bracketry
- Removal & replacement of covers & panels.
- Removal & replacement of compressors, condenser coils & evaporator coils
- Brazing of copper pipe assemblies
- Cleaning of HVAC units.
Skills, Experience and Social Competencies required:
- Copper brazing experience
- Mechanical assembly, disassembly experience
- Basic computer skills
- Interpret drawings and work instructions; with assembly knowledge
- Manual handling knowledge
- Adaptable and flexible
Additional requirements for working with Knorr-Bremse Australia Pty Ltd:
- Passing a pre-employment medical
