About the Role
We are currently seeking applications for permanent full time role of Administration Officer located at our Townsville venue.
The purpose of this position is to coordinate and deliver all administrative activities undertaken at a venue, whilst providing a high quality of service to clients.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Manage the venue reception area by providing clients with a high level of customer service through face to face and telephone communication
- Provide administrative support to the venue through appointment management and other administrative duties
- Use the Client Information System (CIS) to input and update client details and information relating to sessions and appointments
- Receipt all money, EFTPOS and cheque transactions in a timely and accurate manner, bank all receipted transactions and complete banking return forms in line with the Financial Procedures.
Work days/hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant, however please note that the position holder will be required to work an evening shift (11.30am to 7.30pm) once a week, with some flexibility needed in order to meet business requirements. There is currently a 2.30pm finish time offered every second Friday.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will
- Have experience in an administrative role providing face-to-face, email and telephone customer service and experience managing challenging customer interactions in a professional manner.
- Be competent in computer use (Microsoft Office, email, web based programs)
- Have the ability to learn new programs and applications, paired with effective time management, attention to detail, prioritising and organisation skills.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- A certificate III or IV in Business Administration is highly desired.
The salary being offered is $57,271.50 to $62,536.50 per annum, to be negotiated depending upon qualifications and experience, plus superannuation.
