Job Description

Construction Trainer

Apprenticeships Queensland has been training and providing employment opportunities for over 35 years In the Ipswich region and is looking for a qualified Trainer with a current TAE qualification to continue its Building Futures Program in 2022.

You will be delivering a Certificate 1 in Construction under a partnership with TAFE for school students from the region and also Trainees for a successful employment program for a contract period of 12 months.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Train new team members in Certificate I in Construction
  • provide coaching and support to contribute to a friendly and cohesive team environment
  • Mentor trainees requiring assistance
  • Must be able to motivate and manage a group of up to 15 young adults in a classroom or job site
