About the Role

We currently have a great opportunity for an experience Payroll Officer to join the team on a 6 month contract, with the option to extend to full time position within the business for the right candidate.

About You

  • A self-starter with an eye for detail and strong payroll skills

  • Experienced with payroll

About the Role

  • Payroll processing
  • End to end processing of weekly timesheets
  • Updating and maintaining payroll records
  • Liaising with management and employees on payroll related queries
  • Process and maintain all leave records
  • Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts
  • Undertaking required reporting, both internal and statutory reporting
  • Payroll administration – eg: filing
  • Calculation of termination payments
  • Processing increases and calculations of back pays
  • Assisting with reconciliation and payment of payroll and group tax
  • Calculating annual leave and long service leave provisions/accruals
  • Responsible for all payroll related issues and pay rates
  • Set up new starters
  • Maintaining employee’s information, E.g.: addresses & bank details
