About the Role
Zest Care is currently seeking for a passionate and experienced Support Workers across various Melbourne based locations.
In this role you will assist the participant with daily living, providing personal care, provide community access support to therapy and other appointments as well as daily meal preparations.
To be a successful candidate, you must have a valid driver licence with a reliable vehicle and willing to use your own vehicle to transport the participant.
About You
You will be committed to family and person-centred approaches, fostering inclusion and involvement. To be successful in this role, you must have self-awareness, thoughtfulness, and resilience. Successful candidate will have experience in crisis management, offering community inclusion and networking opportunities for clients, supporting clients' recreational activities, and transporting clients in a vehicle as well as are attention to detail and a methodical approach to working within a therapeutic model of care.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Certificate III – IV in Disability & Aged Care or similar or relevant experience if working towards a relevant qualification.
- Minimum 6 months experience working hands on preferably in-home care.
- The ability to maintain individual boundaries whilst maintaining a positive relationship.
- Ability to work various shifts including morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and sleepover shifts.
- Current Driver’s Licence with a reliable vehicle and must be willing to use own vehicle to transport the client.
