Internal RecruiterWe have an immediate need for an energetic Recruitment Officer to join the People and Culture team at Life Saving Victoria (LSV) in a part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed contract for 3 months.Who are we? Life Saving Victoria is Victoria's peak water safety and lifesaving organisation and is committed to its mission to prevent aquatic related death and injury across all Victorian communities.  LSV is a recognised agency of Emergency Management Victoria and provides emergency response services across the state through its vast network of lifesaving clubs, lifeguards, marine and aerial rescue services. LSV is a Registered Training Organisation and a charity registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.We are looking for a self-starter with previous recruitment experience with a strong understanding of systems.  You will be process driven and solution orientated, with great customer service skills to provide support for the human resource function to attract and induct talent to LSV. Ideal candidate: this position would ideally suit an internal recruiter or HR generalist with demonstrated broad HR administration experience gained in similar role.  You will be a team player with a friendly ‘can-do’ attitude.  You will have with some exposure to volunteer, sport or emergency service organisation preferred.Specific requirements: you must have strong recruitment skillset.  Strong ethics with understanding of sensitivity and confidentiality.  You will have demonstrated success in delivering to timelines with the ability to operate in a high pressure environment.  Experience working with HR Information systems with a focus on recruitment and applicant tracking systems would be advantageous. Personal attributes:  A proactive, professional with strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach able to work with a broad range of people from varying backgrounds.
