Community Solutions is seeking candidates to apply for a School-Based Civil Construction – Pipelaying Traineeship that is based across 2 sites in Maroochydore and Baringa, (with possibly other locations on the Sunshine Coast). The successful candidates will be enrolled in a Certificate III in Civil Construction – Pipelaying.

If you are in year 10 or 11, and have a passion for the building industry, we would love to hear from you! This Traineeship requires 7.5 hours of participation a week, one day a week.
This entry level traineeship will involve:
- Learning to read plans and overviews, follow and implement as directed
- Carry out measurements and calculations
- Identify, locate, and protect underground services
- Carry out manual excavation
- Install trench support
- Install Water Mains and storm water pipelines
- Drain and dewater civil constructions sites
- Working outdoors in variable weather conditions

Community Solutions is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
