The successful candidates will receive a Cert II in Process Plant Operations over a 12-month traineeship period. High performing trainee’s will be given the opportunity to continue as full-time employees at Sun Metals.Sun Metals, is one of the most technologically advanced zinc refineries in the world, producing Special High-Grade Zinc metal, Zinc Alloy metal and by-products of Sulfuric Acid, Copper, Cadmium, and Zinc Ferrite. The refining process involves Roasting, Leaching, Purification, Electrolysis and Casting, with the products then being sold to both domestic and international markets.The successful Trainees will be working in a crew, reporting to the superintendent. The training will allow team members to operate production equipment within defined specifications and procedures, under challenging conditions.   • Drivers Licence
  • Forklift ticket is advantageous
