You will be required to perform other duties within your skills and abilities. Develop and implement security policies and plans in accordance to the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and Defence Industry Security ProgramBe accountable for ensuring obligations for Defence Industry Principles Framework (DISP) policy documents are metEnsure the company complies with the relevant obligations, policy and procedures in relation to securityEnsure an appropriate system of risk, oversight and management are obtainedIssue reports to internal and external stakeholdersFacilitating security/threat awareness training of personnelReport security incidents and fraud incidents, and contact reportsActively monitor and manage the ongoing suitability of sponsored security cleared personnel including their security attitudes and behavioursWork in diverse areas and support the implementation of company policy, procedures, processes, and programs, with the overall objective of safeguarding people, the environment, information and assets.-Provide security guidance and assist in resolution of issues and concerns raised related to company securityPromoting security awareness and shaping security culture in the companyDelivering security briefings (eg overseas travel, induction/departure & cyber security)Coordinating and assisting security clearance subjects through a security clearance process, including aftercare activitiesVerifying security clearances for access purposes (including physical, ICT, classified meetings, visitors)Ensuring effective access control procedures to sensitive information and assets are in place and followedEnsuring key and combination control systems are in placeAssisting and/or conducting inquiries post-security incident or assisting a Defence Investigative Authority (DIA) during an investigationMaintain a security register in accordance to DISPConduct an annual security report in accordance to DISPMaintenance of DISP membershipOther duties as necessary and requested by Management Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:3+ years’ experience in a Security Officer, Security Advisor or Supply Chain Risk Management Advisor positionMust be eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance to a minimum of NV2 Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you. How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:

    • Promoting security awareness and shaping security culture in the company
    • Delivering security briefings (eg overseas travel, induction/departure & cyber security)
    • Coordinating and assisting security clearance subjects through a security clearance process, including aftercare activities
    • Verifying security clearances for access purposes (including physical, ICT, classified meetings, visitors)
    • Ensuring effective access control procedures to sensitive information and assets are in place and followed
    • Ensuring key and combination control systems are in place
    • Assisting and/or conducting inquiries post-security incident or assisting a Defence Investigative Authority (DIA) during an investigation
    • Maintain a security register in accordance to DISP
    • Conduct an annual security report in accordance to DISP
    • Maintenance of DISP membership
    • Other duties as necessary and requested by Management

     

    Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

    • 3+ years’ experience in a Security Officer, Security Advisor or Supply Chain Risk Management Advisor position
    • Must be eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance to a minimum of NV2
