How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:

  • Electronic / Electrical Assembly
  • System modification and installation of electrical / avionics systems
  • Harness manufacturing
  • High level soldering skills to a PCB level
  • Electrical circuit Fault finding and diagnosis
  • Work closely with Engineers to assemble prototype products based on schematic diagrams; accurately mark changes when instructions vary and report changes
  • Conduct and record product tests and diagnostic activities to support the production process
  • Mechanical enclosure / component assembly
  • Ensure all parts meet quality standards
  • Use of power tools
  • Manual handling
  • Work with the Human Resources team to grow the Gilmour Space team as required
  • Other duties as requested by Management

 

Skills and Experience:

Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Certificate IV in Aeroskills - Avionics
  • 5+ years of experience in a high reliability and quality manufacturing operating environment, ideally within the space / aerospace industry
  • Extensive knowledge of avionics and electrical systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Have a passion for advancing the commercial space industry

 

Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
