They are as follows:Rehabilitation (criminogenic);Emotional Wellbeing (social, family and community);Education, Training and Employment;Life Skills, Health and Development; andBail Services.Hope Community Services (HOPE) works as the lead agency, in partnership with the City of Cockburn, Rise Network, 54 Reasons (formerly, Save the Children Australia), Archer Health and Kuditj to provide these services of contract.About the Opportunity: The Independent Chairperson will provide leadership and co-chair all meetings with the Consortium, enhancing the groups effectiveness in achieving the mission of the Metropolitan Youth Justice Alliance.  The Chairperson will also ensure work the Consortium workload is shared between all members and completed in an ethically and socially responsible fashion.The successful appointed candidate will be required to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with a broad range of people and organisations. They must positively represent the Metropolitan Youth Justice Alliance to the public, community, government, and other organisations,  as well as identify opportunities to establish links with the business community who have an interest in youth health and wellbeing/life skills.This position collaborates closely with the Chief Services Officer for Hope Community Services, the lead agency for the Metropolitan Youth Justice Alliance. About you:We are looking for a leader who is passionate about working with young people and committed to their health and wellbeing. In this role your personal attributes and values are just as important as your professional skills. Having a commitment to continuous learning, collaborative approach and adaptability to changing work environments will see you do well in this role.
