They are often at the forefront of instituting regulatory changes which are for the betterment of our members.The Project Manager is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This includes leading teams to bring a whole of organisation focus to project delivery and prioritisation working closely with internal and external partners.In this dynamic role, key accountabilities will include:Project ownership including developing and managing all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and issuesAssisting in managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of businessProviding leadership for project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestonesReporting on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities as well as providing status reports regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadershipManaging ongoing quality control and participating in quality issue resolutionDeveloping progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, Board and key stakeholdersWhat you’ll bringThe successful applicant will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude and will have:3 - 5 years experience as a Project Manager with a successful track record of end to end project managementPrior experience working in financial services or heavily regulated industries, with superannuation experience highly desiredAn ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objectiveStrong organisation, interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) with an ability to develop relationships and work effectively autonomously or as part of a teamHigh levels of attention to detail and qualityAn ability to train and impart technical skills to non-technical usersAbove all, we are looking for an individual who is open to embedding themselves into the organisation and applying an educational approach to project methodologies.
