You will provide them with career advice, vocational and employment assistance, all with the goal of obtaining employment as a protective factor to support their ongoing recovery and mental health journey.You will be working closely with our headspace multidisciplinary team and supported by the Work and Study Coordinator and Centre Manager. There will be a focus on building relationships with potential employees, training providers, the Kalgoorlie community, and other community services organisations.This role will also be responsible for promoting skills to develop the headspace Kalgoorlie Youth Advisory Group and assist their headspace orientation, training and creation of individual wellbeing plans.Requirements of the role:We are looking for someone to empower young people and help them realise their potential. Being a person who is has a person centred, strength-based perspective and empowerment approach will see you do well in this role. Drawing from your experience working with young people and in addressing mental health barriers you will building a strong rapport with both the clients and community stakeholdersIdeally, will have a Tertiary qualification and/or experience in employment services, or career development.
