We provide 132 local government entities with workers compensation insurance solutions, safety and wellbeing services and are trusted as their workforce risk and wellbeing experts for their 38,000 workers.
This newly created role will see you leading StateCover’s specialist claims functions and long tail claims management team to achieve optimal claim outcomes and Member experience. You will co-ordinate injury management and technical claims services to the broader workers compensation claims operations, identifying opportunities to improve knowledge and capability. You will monitor risks and identify and implement strategies to improve claims portfolio performance and oversee the performance of StateCover’s preferred claims service providers.
You will have extensive experience in workers compensation claims and injury management and be well versed in workers compensation legislation, dispute resolution and compliance requirements. You will be a motivated and passionate leader who thrives on building and fostering high performing, collaborative teams. If you have experience working in privately underwritten or self-insured workers compensation environments, this will be highly regarded.
