Responsibilities will include overseeing the financial governance, risk management and the integrity of financial and compliance reporting. Overseeing, in conjunction with other LSV committees, strategic enterprise risks.Who are you?As a Board member, you are expected to possess a deep passion and skill for your work, and to uphold high ethical standards and integrity.You should be committed to LSV's purpose and values and have prior experience as an independent director or in a similar governance role. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of best practice governance standards and principles, governance systems, and regulatory frameworks, as well as excellent financial analysis, risk management, and strategic planning skills.You will be expected to exercise independent judgment and provide constructive feedback and will ideally have some familiarity with lifesaving, emergency services, the broader aquatic industry, and education sectors.LSV offers a rewarding environment where you can help shape and drive this iconic for-purpose organisation.
