There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.Operate all lifting equipment incidental to own workSet up, monitor and operate a range of machines on developed products including preventative maintenance tasksConduct daily prestart check of CNC machinery Notify supervisor of major malfunctions or when machine maintenance is required in a timely mannerRead and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Load programs into CNC machine and execute program cutting of the material.Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.Perform machine changeovers and change tool inserts as needed.Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:3 years’ experience manufacturing precision components using lathes and millsExperienced in the use of precision measuring equipment – vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.Mechanical aptitude – able to articulate technical issuesAbility to dedicatedly follow instructions, standards and procedures and work well as part of a teamHigh level of consideration for safety of people, equipment and productsStrong work ethic and high level of care in all activities carried outReliable and consistent performerFlexible, open to change and possess the ability to work well under pressure.NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferredDesired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:We recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you.   • Conduct daily prestart check of CNC machinery 
  • Notify supervisor of major malfunctions or when machine maintenance is required in a timely manner
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. 
  • Load programs into CNC machine and execute program cutting of the material.
  • Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.
  • Perform machine changeovers and change tool inserts as needed.

Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • 3 years’ experience manufacturing precision components using lathes and mills
  • Experienced in the use of precision measuring equipment – vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.
  • Mechanical aptitude – able to articulate technical issues
  • Ability to dedicatedly follow instructions, standards and procedures and work well as part of a team
  • High level of consideration for safety of people, equipment and products
  • Strong work ethic and high level of care in all activities carried out
  • Reliable and consistent performer
  • Flexible, open to change and possess the ability to work well under pressure.
  • NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred

  • Forklift License (company may provide training)
