Marist Sion College is situated in Warragul, Gippsland. Warragul is a thriving rural town set amongst rolling green hills and dairy fields, on the lands of the Gunaikurnai and Bunurong People. It is 102 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, accessible directly from the M1 freeway and lies between the Strzelecki Ranges to the south and Mount Baw Baw Plateau to the north. The town is the main population and service centre of the West Gippsland region and has a population of over 20,000.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementing a range of teaching programs.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting student progress in key learning areas.
- Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.
- Teaching an area of the curriculum to a specific year level,
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on student progress in key learning areas.
- Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.
- Implementing effective student management consistent with the College strategic plan.
- Supervising a range of activities, including support and welfare programs,
- Modeling exemplary classroom practice and mentoring or coaching other teachers in the College to engage in critical reflection on their practice and to support staff in expanding their capacity.
- Assisting staff in using student data to inform teaching approaches that enable targets related to improving student learning outcomes to be achieved.
