Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Sustained enthusiasm and interest in space technology and its application for space commercialisation and exploration
  • Bachelors (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering discipline sufficient to satisfy the requirements for membership with Engineers Australia (MIEAust)
  • 3+ years of demonstrated expertise with the design, analysis, development, test and operation of Electrical Engineering
  • Experience conducting risk management activities and a good understanding of risk management processes
  • Experience participating in multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and technicians
  • Exceptional work ethic, initiative, attention to detail and ability to obtain and retain new information
  • Demonstrated resilience and ability to work well in a safety critical, dynamic environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and written) with technicians, supervisors, engineers, and any other support departments
  • Experience working well with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.
