There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.Architect & Develop: Design, implement, and optimize scalable web services and infrastructure solutions, supporting space vehicle and satellite design, production, and operations.Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead for software projects, ensuring code quality, security, and efficient design. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance in best practices, code reviews, and system architecture.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical, Propulsion, and Manufacturing Engineering, as well as external stakeholders, to align software solutions with mission requirements and timelines.Project Management & Documentation: Lead project planning, manage timelines, and ensure thorough documentation across development stages, adhering to company policies and standards.Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and cloud infrastructure. Assess new technologies and implement improvements to software tools and processes.Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee integration, unit, and performance testing, including on-site support as needed. Alternatively, demonstrated ability and experience equivalent to degree level is well regarded.5+ years in professional software engineering roles, with demonstrated expertise in Golang, Python, C/C++.Proficient in full-stack development of production quality applications and familiar with front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React.Strong understanding of microservices, containerization and web infrastructure.Experience with API design and management (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).Solid background in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.Ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environments and demonstrate resilience in high-stress situations.Desired Qualifications, Skills and ExperienceWe recognise you may not meet all of the below, but don’t let that deter you.
