StateCover’s purpose is to keep people safe, well and working. We are the Mutual insurer of choice for NSW councils, founded 23 years ago by Members, for Members. We provide 133 local government entities with workers compensation insurance solutions, safety and wellbeing services and are trusted as their workforce risk and wellbeing experts for their 37,000 workers.
The opportunity
The RTW Specialist delivers quality and valued services which are strategically targeted to improve our Members’ workplace risk profile, their capability and achieve enhanced RTW outcomes. You are skilled at building rapport and stakeholder relationships, are a confident communicator and presenter, enjoy the occasional in person visit to meet Members and know your way around MS teams to present and train online. You will monitor Member performance to understand key gaps and offer thoughtful and actionable recommendations. As part of our continuous improvement focus, you will develop and deliver training, employer resources and other services to support our Members meet their employer obligations.
About you
You will have an allied health qualification or extensive experience with injury management and return to work, demonstrated by a solid understanding of the applicable NSW workers compensation legislation and associated regulations. An excellent communicator with proven presentation and facilitation skills, you can effectively tailor your communication to suit different audiences. Prior experience in commencing projects through to implementation, including the development of training, employer resources and collateral would be advantageous. As you will be servicing our Member councils throughout NSW, a current drivers licence and the ability to travel is essential.
