In this exciting position, you will be responsible for preparing all reliable strategic financial advice, necessary financial statutory, regulatory or statistical reports, complete data analysis, forecasting of financial information and Performance Management reporting, whilst working closely with relevant stakeholders. The role is also accountable for managerial reporting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting and planning activities of operation relating to Finance for Operations.As a highly valued member of the Lynas Rare Earths team, you will:Lead the planning and budgeting process Ensure the operations plan and budget is integrated and aligned with the Lynas Group business objectives. Provide financial guidance, insight and advise on financial impactRegularly review and update full year forecast.  Manage the delivery of monthly cost performance reports (including variance analysis) Monitor and manage the operations cost management activities Manage key stakeholder requirements, provide insightful reports / analysis for informed decision makingIdentify trends in performance and implement recommended actions to improve performance in consultation with the Operations Team.Review and identify opportunities for optimization of the management reporting processes (in terms of time, cost and risk) while ensuring accuracy and integrity of information.Prepare rolling cash flow forecast and coordinate with Global Finance, Transactional Team and Treasury Performs other duties of a similar or related levelWhat you will bring to the team:Relevant experience across the full range of financial accounting activities - financial systems, internal controls and systems/process development in a commercial environment. The Opportunity:

Lynas Rare Earths is currently seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join the team. What you will bring to the team:

  • Experience within the Resources sector (desirable)

 Qualifications and/or Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accountancy, Finance, or Commerce
  • Professional qualification and/or memberships such as Chartered Practicing Accountant (CPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) equivalent.
  • Valid and unencumbered Australian Driver’s license.
