Marist-Sion College is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cafe Assistants to support the daily operations of the College Cafe and contribute to providing quality service for our College community.
About the Role
The role involves preparing, cooking and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, assisting with stock control, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Café Assistants play an important part in creating a friendly and efficient service experience for students, staff, and visitors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with day to day operation of the cafe services.
- Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with Work Health Safety Act.
- Preparation and cooking of meals.
- General cleaning and maintaining of a hygienic kitchen.
- Serving customers - visitors, staff and students.
- Maintaining and balancing of financial transactions.
- General hospitality tasks as requested by the College Cafe Manager.
