The plant repurposes manure to supply sustainable, industry leading products to all types of Australian farms. ABOUT THE ROLE Due to ongoing growth and expansion we currently have an opportunity to Join Mort & Co Fertiliser’s in a newly created Sales Representative position. This permanent full-time role is responsible for driving sales and providing agronomic support to farmers and agricultural businesses across Central QLD, Emerald, Charters Towers, Darling Downs, and Western Downs. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market share. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the region. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, distributors, and industry partners. Providing technical advice and support on crop management, soil health, pest control, and fertilisation. Ensuring timely delivery of products and services while addressing customer inquiries professionally. Monitoring customer satisfaction and gathering feedback to improve service quality. Analysing market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies. Preparing and presenting regular sales reports and forecasts. Collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. ABOUT YOU The key criteria for this position include: Substantial experience in agronomy or agricultural sales, with a solid understanding of fertilisers and plant nutrition. A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related field would be advantageous but is not essential with the relevant experience. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and relevant Mort & Co databases. Proven track record of sales and market penetration. Strong knowledge of crop management practices and agricultural products. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in using sales and CRM software. A ‘C’ class driver’s licence and willingness to travel to other Mort & Co sites occasionally. WHY WORK WITH US? Here’s a taste of what’s on offer Joining a committed team that’s at the forefront of innovation A commitment to your ongoing development and learning to further career growth Competitive Salary based on skills and experience OTHER INFORMATION TO KNOWMort & Co Fertiliser is an equal opportunity employer always on the lookout for great people to join the team.
