How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:

- Perform work accurately and to a high standard, according to build files drawings, procedures, specifications, and instructions
- Perform machine setup, post processing, tracking of raw materials and managing new and in process parts through multi-step workflows
- Maintain schedules in conjunction with safety and quality within a fast-paced environment
- Manage the workspace in a clean, organized, and thoroughly maintained manner
- Operate forklifts, manual lifts, and Pallet jacks to safely move product around the facility
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in approved manner
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and document manufacturing activities
- Ensure permitted preventative maintenance is performed on time, safely, and in a professional manner
- Understand engineering (CAD) drawings and models, verifying dimensions and specifications
- Ensure quality control standards are adhered to at all times
- Coordinate with team members in solving technical problems as they arise
- To communicate with all team members and managers to ensure positive working relationships and adherence to the daily operational requirement
- Ability to work off-hours work, as necessary, during certain build phases
- Other duties as required by Management
- Level 3 Trade qualification in Aerospace, Fitting, or similar trade
- 3+ years of experience in the Aerospace, Manufacturing, Marine, Automotive or medical equipment Industry
- NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred
- Experience working with and troubleshooting complex mechanical systems, ideally within the aerospace industry
- Experience using additive manufacturing machines
- Must have exceptional time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
- It is essential to have the skills to work efficiently in a team environment and should have a desire and willingness to assist other team members in the general day to day running of the department.
