Established in 1985, we design, manufacture, and install conveyor components and systems, including pulleys, idlers, rapid advance–rapid retreat systems, and drive heads, while offering on-site maintenance and relocation services.
Your Opportunity
As the face of NEPEAN Conveyors’ Belting Services team in Central West NSW, you will lead the delivery of high-quality conveyor belt services across your designated area. You will support existing customers with prompt and effective resolution of breakdowns, repairs, maintenance, belt removal and installation, and refurbishment. You will also drive business growth opportunities with support from the site services management team.
Key Responsibilities
Workplace Health & Safety (WHSE):
Operate within NEPEAN’s WHSE guidelines and systems
Monitor and ensure a safe working environment for your direct reports
Report hazards, near misses, and incidents and take corrective action where safe
Use WHSE tools to manage personnel health and safety
Site Services – External:
Be the primary point of contact for customers in your area
Follow up on quotes and identify new business opportunities
Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally
Schedule and coordinate personnel, equipment, and materials for service works
Manage after-hours support for customers
Support sales and supply agreements for belt cleaners, new/refurbished belts, and aftermarket services
Site Services – Internal:
Prepare and manage quotations using NEPEAN CRM and sales systems
Process orders and manage budgets via PRONTO ERP
Participate in internal meetings and report on regional activities
Maintain technical knowledge and ensure compliance with legal and company standards
People Leadership:
Support performance development, career progression, and succession planning
Participate in recruitment, training, and team development
Manage underperformance formally with clear expectations and support
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Certificate III in Polymer Processing Trade (minimum 5 years post-trade experience)
Underground black coal experience (minimum 5 years)
Full Class C driver’s licence
Strong skills in MS Office, CRM systems, and PRONTO ERP
Experience managing teams and coordinating operational activities
