  • Allocate work to team members and contractors to meet operational priorities
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and Work Instructions at all times

Logistics Execution

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements in line with site plans
  • Monitor transport schedules and escalate delays or issues
  • Ensure correct documentation accompanies all movements

Warehousing Operations

  • Maintain accurate stock handling, labelling, storage and segregation
  • Support stocktakes, cycle counts and audit readiness
  • Ensure warehouse areas remain safe, organised and compliant

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide daily operational updates to the Superintendent
  • Record and report operational issues, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Support accurate data capture for daily, weekly and monthly reporting

People & Team Leadership

  • Lead by example with professionalism, discipline and strong work ethic
  • Support onboarding, training and coaching of logistics and warehouse personnel
  • Foster teamwork and strong working relationships across site

What you will bring to the team:

  • Demonstrated experience supervising logistics, warehousing or freight operations in a large industrial site or mining environment
  • Experience coordinating contractors, freight providers and site services
  • Strong planning, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Sound understanding of safety and compliance requirements within logistics environments
  • Intermediate MS Office skills

Qualifications:

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or Commerce

Essential

  • Valid WA Driver’s Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence (Forklift)
