About the Role

As a Prevention Officer, you’ll work alongside local communities, government agencies, and service providers to create safer, healthier futures.

You’ll Need

  • Experience in community development, health promotion, or AOD prevention programs
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of AOD-related issues and their impacts on individuals, families, and communities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a regional team
  • Commitment to culturally secure practice and working respectfully with Aboriginal communities
  • Current Driver’s Licence, Working with Children Check, and National Police Clearance
