The CPSU/CSA is a progressive Union representing members employed in the WA public sector, including agencies employing under federal agreements. The Union assists members and delegates by organising around collective issues, providing training on employment and members' concerns, offering advice through its call centre, and providing representation in the WAIRC and Fair Work. The CPSU/CSA is a Union powered by the values and strength of members across the Public Sector.
The Role
The CPSU/CSA is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join its advocacy team. You will work closely with the CPSU/CSA team, members, and workplace leaders to manage collective negotiations for agreements, resolve disputes, and assist individual members seeking industrial assistance or advice.
The successful candidate will be required to negotiate industrial agreements, resolve collective disputes in the WAIRC or Fair Work, and provide advice to employees, delegates, or individual members to resolve their employment issues under Supervision.

People who require supervision for legal practice are welcome to apply; supervision may be offered to the successful candidate. Having a law degree is not required or integral for this role, and anyone with a passion for advocacy is welcome to apply. Any transferable skills will be considered.
This position requires a valid WA driver's license and will require an application for a right-of-entry permit.
