At Mallee District Aboriginal Services (MDAS), our Family & Community Services team works at the grassroots level to wrap around and protect local families.
Operating across Mildura and Swan Hill, we are dedicated to helping our Mob raise healthy, happy children with a strong connection to culture and identity.
Your Role
We are looking for a Senior Case Manager Meminar Ngangg Gimba (MNG) to support Aboriginal women and children who are experiencing or escaping family violence.
In this role, you will provide culturally safe, trauma informed and strengths based case management to women and children staying at MNG Women and Children’s Refuge.
You will support clients with;
- intake and assessment
- family violence risk assessments
- safety planning
- advocacy and referrals
- practical support
- coordinated responses with other services.
You will work as part of the Intake and Assessment Team, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children with immediate and short term case management needs.
This role also provides guidance and support to junior staff, helping to create a safe, respectful and healing environment for clients and the team.
You will work closely with the MNG Management Team, MDAS programs and external services to ensure women and children receive the right support at the right time.
This is a permanent full time position based at our Mildura MNG location.

This role is suited to someone who has strong family violence case management experience, understands risk and safety planning, and is committed to supporting Aboriginal women, children, families and Community.
