An opportunity exists for Highly Motivated individuals with a keen interest in the Aviation Sector to join our unique organisation, and to be based in Port Moresby, National Capital District to join immediately.

The primary objective of the position is to prepare and serve enough, good well balance and healthy food of high standard always. Ensures that the mess facilities are keep tidy, non-infested and safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will be assessed against the following essential requirements:

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Undertake daily inspection of facilities to ensure all facilities are in a serviceable condition.

·         Cleans kitchen, mess and all food preparation and servicing areas as required.

·         Reports to Base Manager, Port Moresby where any possible fault are detected or improvement needed.

·         Able to proactively maintain hygiene and cleanliness towards HACCP

·         Assist Head Chef and team in full out of stocks every day and conduct weekly stock take in the Mess.

·         Monitor and keep freezers, fridge and cooking stoves, burners and BBQ grills are in safe and better condition before and after using them.

Able to strictly follow the monthly menu and types of meals scheduled
