Primary Teacher
Every role at Maitland Christian School is part of something bigger. We exist to grow faith, character, and ability in every student, and fulfilling that mission takes a whole community working together. While each role looks different, what unites us is a shared conviction—that children matter, that community matters, and that God works powerfully through people who show up with genuine faith and genuine care. We are seeking people who believe this deeply; who bring not only their skills, but also their character, convictions, and commitment to a purpose that extends beyond the school day. If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.

Core Values
Faith – We know, live and courageously share the truth of God’s Word
Faith gives students a way to understand who they are and why their lives matter. Grounded in God’s Word, it shapes how they think, love, and respond to the world around them. As faith is lived daily, students grow with clarity, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose that guides them through both challenge and opportunity.
Excellence – We pursue the highest possible good for all
Excellence calls out the best in each student, pursuing the highest good and honouring God in all we do. Through rich learning and meaningful opportunities, students develop their strengths, think deeply, and grow in confidence. They are prepared not just for what comes next, but to step into life ready to contribute with purpose, hope, and grace.
Community – We encourage each other and generously work together in Christ’s love
Students who are truly known, meaningfully challenged, and deeply loved don’t just feel comfortable, they’re transformed. This is what happens when families, teachers, and students share life together, young people learn to listen well, care deeply, and act with courage toward others.
