Our client provides a free shuttle bus service for its employees, running from Cockburn train station to its tailor-built Jandakot office/facility twice a day.
We proudly seek, on their behalf, applications for Shuttle Bus Operators to run a twice-daily shuttle service from Cockburn Train Station to the client's office in Jandakot. The Shuttle Bus Operator is the primary position but also includes basic site maintenance responsibilities, in addition to Shuttle Bus Operation. The Jandakot office includes beautiful native bushland that the client wants inspected daily, as well as the site deliveries (goods in/out) area, which must be kept clean & all pallets & products are stacked and put away neatly; hence the requirement for a forklift licence.

Responsibilities:
- C Class Operation of a diesel Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van
- Drive employee pick-ups from Cockburn Train Station to the Jandakot office twice daily.
- Schedule the runs in line with the Cockburn train station passenger arrivals schedule.
Undertake basic site maintenance, such as whipper snipping, weed removal, leaf clearing, and blowing
Ad hoc office tasks or utility duties as requested
- Minor vehicle maintenance tasks such as pool car/bus cleans, refuelling or vehicle inspections
Additional responsibilities:
- After each morning’s shuttle service, basic site maintenance is required.
- Standard site review & clean-up (blower, broom, site inspection)
Successful applicants will have:
- Current clean Driver's Licence (C Class) or above (HR highly regarded)
- Experience in Shuttle bus or Van operations
- Excellent timekeeping
- Personable, polite, and diligent with a strong safety record.
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Ability to pass and undergo a Drug and Alcohol screen.
- Ability and willingness to oversee basic site maintenance
- MUST have a driver's medical (Can obtain from GP).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, including colleagues, suppliers and customers.
- Strong safety attitude and driver awareness
- Ability to work autonomously
- Physically fit
