About the role
Are you a visionary leader passionate about leveraging data to drive positive change? Relationships Australia Queensland is seeking a Data & Reporting Lead to join our dynamic ICT team at our Eight Mile Plains office. Reporting directly to the General Manager for ICT and forming a key part of our Support Services, this pivotal role will champion the delivery of robust data management, advanced analytics, and insightful reporting solutions that empower our organisation to strengthen relationships and support diverse communities across Queensland.
In this role, you will lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the Data & Reporting team. You will encourage the exploration of new technologies and data-driven solutions, while collaborating closely with IT and other departments to embed robust data strategies and innovative practices across the organisation.
Additionally, you will:
Oversee the development and maintenance of advanced dashboards, analytics tools, and reporting solutions to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations throughout the data lifecycle.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Data & Reporting team, promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and a data-driven mindset across the organisation.
Collaborate with ICT teams to safeguard sensitive information and maintain robust data security.
Manage stakeholder relationships, understanding reporting needs, and providing timely, accurate, and relevant reports to support strategic and operational decisions.
Drive process improvements and automation to streamline data collection, reporting, and analytics workflows.
About you

You possess a blend of technical expertise and people leadership skills, enabling you to drive positive change and support Relationships Australia Queensland in reaching it's goals.
Additionally, you have:
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology OR extensive industry experience supported by industry training within a similar role.
Possession of a current driver’s licence with the ability to travel within Queensland if required.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in PowerBI or similar reporting tools.
Demonstrated experience leading data, analytics, and/or reporting teams.
Experience mentoring and developing employees to achieve high performance and service delivery.
Demonstrated experience in change management, especially for ICT change advisory boards.
Strong understanding of Microsoft-based client software, supported or hosted infrastructure platforms, and software products such as MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in IT management.
Knowledge of current and emerging IT technologies, especially in the Data, Analytics, and Reporting area.
