This site‑based role is ideal for an IT professional with hands‑on experience providing end‑user and desktop support in a operational or remote environment. This position is responsible for delivering reliable desktop and end‑user IT support across the Renison mine site and village complex. You will have strong working knowledge of Windows desktop environments and Microsoft 365, as well as experience supporting Active Directory user accounts and applying Group Policy at a basic level. You will demonstrate sound troubleshooting skills with a practical, customer-focused approach, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with users who have differing levels of technical understanding and expertise. You will also have the ability to work effectively within a site-based team environment.While not essential, exposure to IT environments in mining, industrial, or remote locations would be highly regarded. A basic understanding of networking concepts such as Wi-Fi, VPNs, and general connectivity, along with familiarity with endpoint or mobile device management tools, would also be beneficial.
