Specifically, this position performs maintenance and responds to, troubleshoots and performs preventative, routine and emergency repair or replacement, including significant repairs, on infrastructure, structures, equipment and systems such as boilers, roof top units, electrical and plumbing systems to maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Standards. Overall, this position plays an integral role in ensuring corporate facilities remain operational by maintaining and achieving maintenance goals, minimizing interruptions and maximizing operational efficiencies. Working on site at our Barrie location daily.Salary range: $70,000 to $85,000/ yearKey Responsibilities:· Inspects, troubleshoots and performs preventative, routine or emergency repair maintenance on heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and mechanical equipment determining when repair or replacement is required.· Inspects, troubleshoots and performs incidental preventative, routine and/or repair maintenance on plumbing systems, such as replacing fixtures, unclogging drains using a snake or camera, repairing leaks and breaks, performing installations, devices, rebuilding fixtures, replacing parts,· Troubleshoots and performs preventative, routine and/or emergency maintenance on water softeners,· Performs seasonal start up and shutdown of HVAC systems.· Installs, troubleshoots and performs preventative, routine or repair maintenance on security equipment, such as locking mechanisms, door hardware, door operators, door openers/closers, and key cores, when required.· Performs tests, visual inspections and preventative, routine and/or emergency repair maintenance for fire, emergency and life safety equipment, which includes but is not limited to sprinkler systems, fire alarm panels, strobes, alarms, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), carbon monoxide monitors, first aid stations, fire extinguishers, standby generators, uninterrupted Power Supply systems and associated devices· Reports all unusual maintenance or equipment issues to the Facilities Manager or Facility Supervisor· Utilizes computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) software to create and receive service tickets; update work orders, and analyze data.· Administers, adjusts, reads and interprets data from Building Automation Systems (BAS).· Maintains supplies, tools and materials; stores in a safe and secure environment; and identifies low supplies and materials or tool/equipment concerns and initiates resolution.· Conducts regular inspections of corporate facilities, which involves inspecting building infrastructure and structures including roofs, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment and systems; reports maintenance and equipment issues identified; and collaborates with the Facilities Manager and/or Facility Supervisor to schedule and complete repair of identified issues.· Performs general preventative, routine and/or repair maintenance for various building infrastructure, structures, building envelope, equipment, and furniture, such as flooring and carpet repair, ceiling tile replacement, appliance repair, and/or painting maintenance.· • Applies life cycle asset management principles when developing various maintenance strategies, which outlines the remaining service life and criticality of various equipment.· • Using internal knowledge of facilities and systems, provides direction, guidance, and technical advice to contractors on outsourced repair/maintenance.· Receives, investigates, resolves and/or redirects inquiries, questions and complaints regarding facility operational and maintenance related matters.o Based on scope of work and specialty of trade, Identifies the need for engaging contractors/tradespersons and completes the following: o coordinates and schedules contractors/tradespersons to assist in the completion of scheduled and/or demand maintenance, when required;o assists/accompanies contractors/tradespersons, when required;o reviews contractors/tradespersons logbook entries to ensure completeness and accuracy;o inspects completed work by contractors/tradespersons to ensure compliance with predetermined specifications; Position Overview:

Demonstrated Ability to:

o read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and specifications, building codes and architectural drawings

o work in a complex, fast-paced environment with changing priorities
