The program is a twelve (12) month, full-time, paid program, in which you will gain experience in all core areas of a feedlot operation by rotating through the following areas in a Mort & Co Feedlot.Livestock Health and MovementsFeeding and MillingMaintenance Pen and Ground MaintenanceAdministrationFarmsIn each rotation you will receive structured training and coaching in all the core activities of the area, and have the opportunity to get hands on and apply your learning. Throughout the program you will also gain access to professional development including leadership development, meaning you will complete the program equipped with the skillset required for a wide variety of roles and well on your way to become a future industry leader.  ABOUT YOU The aim of the program is to support you to learn and grow through real life experience and development, so you aren’t required to hold a formal qualification or have prior experience to apply.The Key criteria for the position are:A strong interest in working in the feedlotting and beef production industry combined with a commitment to learning and embracing new experiences and challenges.Sound verbal and written communication skills.The ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.A focus on working safely.A commitment to upholding animal welfare standards.WHY WORK WITH US?In this program you will be supported with Access to Professional development opportunities including networking events and Leadership Development.Access to mentors, key personnel and past alumni from previous programs to offer a support network to allow you to grow and flourish in this program. Performance coaching and mentoring to ensure you achieve all performance milestones and goals set throughout the program.
