
Gardener (Horticulturist)
Aquinas College is a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition servicing in excess of 1,300 local, country and international boys. Aquinas College has a rich history within Western Australian education and a reputation of producing outstanding young men.
Aquinas College sits on 62 hectares of land which we care for and maintain to a high standard. Due to an increasing need, we currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Gardener to join our busy Grounds team.
This role works in a hands-on capacity in maintaining the Aquinas College grounds, gardens and open spaces.
Whilst a formal qualification in Horticulture will be highly regarded, those who have relevant experience in the industry or a passion for gardening are encouraged to apply.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to commence as soon as possible.
The successful applicant will have:
- A willingness to work across a variety of duties in support of the Grounds Team.
- A passion for gardening and a willingness to work and learn as part of team
- Previous experience working within a similar role, will be highly regarded, however in not essential.
- Hold a current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain
- Have or be prepared to obtain Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School;
- Hold appropriate Australian Work rights.
